Development of my Personal Philosophy

I've spent the better part of 6 years studying deeply and attempting to learn the actual nature of reality. I've painstakingly pondered life's hardest questions and demanded answers to them. I've repeated to myself endlessly the values that I aspire to, in hopes that one day I will begin to live them and reap the benefits that come as a reward for pursuing them. For better or for worse, we all perceive reality differently, filtering our experiences through our moods, attitudes, and beliefs.

I've found that everything in life can be separated into three interconnected parts. Before the search for the truth starts, we all begin the journey in a particular state of existence that can be summed up in three vices:

Fear. Ignorance. Obscurity.

We are all afraid, all ignorant, and all shrouded in obscurity. Congratulations. Now you're aware of it. DISCLAIMER: If you don't want to take the red pill and go down the rabbit hole, I recommend you turn back now and close this tab. Maybe you should close your entire browser while you're at it.

Love. Truth. Faith.

This is where the real fun begins. Once we become aware of our default-setting, we can then establish ways out of it. This trinity is the gateway to living in a reality that isn't so bleak and depressing. To exude love in every endeavor is to wield a force that has the power to put into motion changes, transforming everything around it for the better.

Let's be honest, none of us want the truth. We would prefer to cling to our imagination, even though it would mean staying in an illusion. To add insult to injury, most of the time what we think is truth isn't actually how things actually are in objective reality. Can ALL of us really be good, intelligent people who have the capacity for complete free-will? In the pursuit of the truth, we must be brave, ready to pay the price of owning something that never dies. The truth will set you free.

Faith is believing in and putting your entire trust in the Universe. At the moment, you're reading this. You possess a Soul, mind, and body. You live on the planet Earth, the only known celestial body in existence that supports life (that we know of). Part of living life is understanding that we're all going to die someday. Today, we are alive though, and we can rest assured that every one of our actions has meaning. They are linked to a chain of events reaching as far back as the beginning of time. In the same vein, our actions in the present have ramifications that ripple far into the future. Have faith, and don't despair.
